Privacy Policy

LaunchTrailer is run by Gjorge Karakabakov, who is responsible for your personal data under this policy. To ask anything about it, use the contact form.
What we collect
- Your account: your email address and a protected form of your password. We can't read your password. If you continue with Google, Google tells us your email address, name and profile picture, and we don't get your Google password.
- Your campaigns: the web address you enter, or the details you type, and any logo and screenshots you upload. Also what we make from them: copy, storyboard frames and videos.
- Your confirmations: your statement that you may promote the product, and the email address and time when you confirm a campaign's claims.
- Your plan: your plan status and the customer and subscription references from our payment provider. We never see your card details.
- Technical data: your IP address and basic request details, which our hosting providers process and log to run and protect the service. We also use your IP address to limit repeated requests.
- Problem reports: what you send through the report form, and errors the site captures automatically so we can fix them.
What we do with a web address
When you enter an address, our servers open that public page in a browser, and read its text, colors, logo and images. Don't enter a page containing personal data you aren't allowed to share with us.
Why we use it
- To provide the service you asked for, under our contract with you: making drafts and videos, keeping your account and sending account emails such as password resets.
- For our legitimate interests: keeping the service secure, preventing abuse and fixing problems.
- To meet legal obligations, such as keeping financial records.
We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising. The site has no analytics or advertising trackers.
Who processes it for us
- Anthropic: writes the draft. It receives the page text, details and images for your campaign.
- Fly.io: runs our backend and video rendering, in Frankfurt, and stores your account and campaign files.
- Cloudflare: hosts this website.
- Polar: handles checkout, payment and subscription billing.
- Resend: sends account emails.
- SnagFrog: collects problem reports and site errors. It is also run by us.
- Google Fonts: supplies the fonts, so your browser connects to Google when pages load, and our servers do when rendering videos.
Some of these companies process data outside the EU and UK, including in the United States. Where the law requires it, these transfers rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Campaigns: until you delete them or your account. Deleting a campaign removes its files, copy, web address and name. We keep a small record of its date and status, because it still counts toward your monthly limit.
- Backups: backups are kept for up to 7 days, so deleted data can remain in them until then.
- Account: until you ask us to delete it. Billing records are kept for as long as tax law requires.
Stored in your browser
We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and to remember a web address while you subscribe. We don't set advertising cookies. These stay until you sign out or clear them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to see, correct, export, restrict or delete your data, and object to how we use it. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. To make a request, including deleting your account, use the contact form from the email address on your account.
Children
LaunchTrailer is for businesses and adults, and isn't intended for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above, and tell you by email if the change is significant.
